How long are your contracts?
All Hostify plans are month to month with no contracts. We make it simple to start — and stop — your service at any time.
What happens if I exceed my plan limitations?
If you go over your visitor or data limits, we’ll work with you to upgrade to a larger plan. If you get to the point that you exceed our current plans, we will work out a custom plan for you. The most important thing is that we will never shut you down for having too much traffic!
How hard is it to migrate my existing site?
Super easy as we do it for you! You simply give some details for your old site and we will take care of the rest. Migration costs a flat $200. After you signup, simply contact us to kick off the process.
Where are your servers located?
Hostify currently operates on servers based in Sydney using Amazon Web Services. We chose Amazon basically because it allows us to test our business model on a small scale without investing heavily in infrastructure, while providing a top quality service. We can launch services instantly, scale to meet rising need without taking things offline and basically have full control of our environment.
Which themes and plugins are included on each plan?
We currently customise our Theme suggestions to your business. Once you select a plan we will offer you the relevant number of themes taken from our favourite online Theme resources – such as Themeforest and Woothemes. These will be the basis for any custom design work we do for you.
Can I use WordPress features that aren’t included in your plans?
As a managed hosting provider, we control the features of the plans. On the Hobby and Sole trader plans we do not allow any installs to take place. However, if you would like a theme or feature added to your site that isn’t available, just contact our support team. Chances are it might be something useful to all our customers. We just want to check it won’t break anything.
